Quite a lot has been published in the past about the battle for Kapelsche Veer. Unfortunately most of these publications contain errors. Some of them even to an extent. Unnecessary, as there are plenty of opportunities to prevent these errors from occurring!
Individuals or institutions who would like to do something with, or about this battle are more than welcome at our documentation group’s Information Point Kapelsche Veer. Throughout the years we have studied this issue sufficiently to be able to be of service to you. We have also built a reasonably large collection of objects related to this battle.
We consider it a moral obligation towards those who fought at the battle for Kapelsche Veer to keep the memory of this period alive in people’s minds and to disperse correct information about it.
